We made it! It’s Friday! YAY!
Immediately I’ve 4 of the 5 new Maybelline Shade Sensational Powder Matte Lipstick colours. These are their new tremendous, duper further matte shades with 2x extra mattifying powders than their different matte lipsticks – so they are saying. These are most positively matte. Keep tuned for my overview on the texture under.
Nocturnal Rose, Concrete Jungle, Carnal Brown, Smoky Jade
Nocturnal Rose is a medium rose pink.
Concrete Jungle is a darkish taupe/gray.
Carnal Brown is a lightweight cafe au lait brown.
Smoky Jade is a darkish mossy inexperienced.

Let’s focus on the components of those. As I mentioned earlier, these are powder mattes, which is extra matte than their different mattes. Does that make sense? I haven’t tried their different mattes, so I can not evaluate them. I can say that for me, they positively tug on my pores and skin fairly a bit at first. As soon as they sort of heat up on the pores and skin, they apply a bit of extra easily. They’re properly pigmented although. These are the sort of lipsticks that I must put on a lip balm beneath or over since my lips are so dry.
So far as these colours, although, very distinctive! Loving the “weirder” shades right here, particularly Concrete Jungle and Smoky Jade.
